ABOUT NINA KASTENS

After completing a Master‘s program in business administration and a goldsmith training course at the jewelry trade school Studio Jewelers Ltd. in New York, she launched her label in the summer of 2014. With contemporary design as a main influence, her mission is to create modern and timeless fine jewelry to wear and hold forever.

Nina Kastens is known for her modern wedding and bespoke jewelry carrying an effortless and elegant look. Whether it‘s engagement rings, wedding bands or custom pieces, the label stands for minimalist yet meaningful designs. Creating lifetime pieces that one day will become heirlooms is the core value of Nina Kastens.

MADE IN GERMANY

To honor the quality and the craftsmanship, almost all fine jewelry pieces are handmade in small German workshops. The engagement and wedding rings are entirely designed and produced in the south of Germany. All rings are individually made to order and produced especially for you to keep the resource consumption as minimal as possible. Our producers are members of the Responsible Jewellery Council, which is a non-profit organization of the global watch and jewelry industry that works on international sustainability standards. The organization was founded to encourage ethically, socially and environmentally responsible practices throughout the supply chain.

MATERIALS, DIAMONDS & GEMSTONES

Our surplus and old materials are always recycled so that they can be reintroduced into the production cycle. In addition, the diamonds we use are sourced exclusively from responsible sources to make sure we are only working with ethical and conflict-free stones. Our diamond tradors work in compliance with the Kimberley Process and are also member of the Responsible Jewellery Council.
